Global Large Account Manager (GLAM)
At Harald Pihl, we are looking for a Global Large Account Manager (GLAM) to manage and grow relationships with our most strategic and complex clients. This pivotal role is key to strengthening our global position and delivering outstanding results in demanding and high-value customer accounts.
Your Role:
As GLAM, you will take responsibility for large and strategic accounts on a global level, as well as selected high-complexity local and national clients. You will work independently or alongside local colleagues to drive cross-border sales and deliver exceptional customer value. The role also involves contributing to the development of Harald Pihl’s product and service offerings and optimizing processes to meet the needs of these demanding accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and attract customers aligned with Harald Pihl’s strategic goals.
- Manage key accounts, including some of our largest and most complex clients.
- Take global responsibility for selected accounts, driving sales and collaboration across borders.
- Provide input to develop Harald Pihl’s product and service portfolio.
- Develop and maintain customer plans for key accounts, ensuring they are accessible to internal teams.
- Establish and enhance global, cross-functional working methods.
- Deliver on agreed KPIs, goals, and initiatives.
- Implement new processes and tools, such as project management in Monitor ERP, in collaboration with support teams.
Reporting & Scope:
This role spans the entire Harald Pihl group and reports to the Head of Global Sales, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our global operations and contribute to our continued success.
Who are you?
To excel as a Global Large Account Manager, you bring extensive experience in high-level sales and negotiation, with a proven ability to manage complex customer relationships and deals. Your technical expertise in materials and specifications is a key strength, supported by an educational background as an engineer or equivalent professional experience.
You have a strong financial understanding and the ability to perform precise calculations, enabling you to make well-informed decisions in both operational and strategic contexts. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to convey ideas persuasively and effectively to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in tools such as Excel and PowerPoint are essential for analyzing data and delivering professional presentations. You combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and deliver tangible results.
